Stones River Greenway starts at the bridge over the Cumberland River at Two Rivers and Briley Parkway and runs about ten miles to Percy Priest Dam. On the other side of the bridge is Shelby Bottoms Greenway
The scenic, twelve-foot wide paved route passes through Two Rivers Park, along Heartland Park, on a ridge above and along the Cumberland River, along Ravenwood County Club, along Stones River, and terminating at Percy Priest Dam.
From the bridge the trail runs under Briley Parkway and the access roads . . .
and into Two Rivers Park.
It passes water treatment plant next to Heart-land Park
The route travels through the Two Rivers Park and next to McGavok High School and then under McGavok Pike on its way to Heartland Park

The trail travels above the Cumberland River as it winds its way to Ravenwood County Club
Along side Ravenwood Country Club the Green-way ends. This section has not been completed. It is paved and suitable for bikes. However, beyond this point travel at your own risk.
At the southern end of this unfinished section of Greenway you will see the following signage.
Ride on the Ravenwood Road to Lebanon Road. Here we have a SAFETY problem. Construction has the auto-bridge over Stones River torn-up.
Form a group and cross the bridge and move immediately into the LEFT-TURN lane and turn into the first left and the KOHL's parking lot.
Go across the parking lot to the far corner near-est the Lebanon Rd bridge.
Hop on the Greenway and follow it all the way to the end of the trail. . .
