TIMOTHY WHITTEN PUTTING FINISHING
TOUCHES TO BIKE/PEDESTRIAN MASTER PLAN My plan is to draft the map, then run it by Fred
Rogers and/or Jerry Horton to get their input, since
they have more knowledge of future roadway plans than I. Once that
happens, you will need to take it through Planning Commission approval and
perhaps the Board of Mayer and Aldermen. I will check on this. I have been delayed in drafting the final bike/ped master plan map. We are coming down to the wire
on the special census, and almost all my time next week will be devoted to
that. Timothy

GET PAID TO RIDE BIKE TO WORK Sen. Ron Wyden, a Democrat from The bill would give people who commute on their bicycles a
pretty hefty tax break: between $40 and $100 per month. Wyden's office
estimates that would be as much as $100 million per year total in tax breaks
for bicyclists. Read more at |
